Ameresco has performed energy and water audits, created energy efficient designs, implemented ull retrofits or upgrades of electrical, mechanical, and water systems, and developed on-site generation systems as part of a myriad of projects supporting DoD sites.
Through long-term partnerships and innovative, cost-effective solutions financed through a variety of contract vehicles, Ameresco continues to support Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, and Air and Army National Guard installations in their energy programs.
Our in-house engineering and construction capabilities enable Ameresco to develop and deliver complicated energy projects in controlled/secure access environments.
Ameresco has been awarded an energy savings performance contract (ESPC) by the Army National Guard to improve energy efficiency at its national headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. This project is projected to reduce energy use at the headquarters by 20% through improvements to lighting and cooling as well as IT system efficiencies.
